Les mots de Jeffrey Taylor sur Serial Portraits
« The process was like a confrontation with my sense of control. It revealed, to me, the tactics I use when this happens – I squirm, I try to smile my way out of the situation, I make a small show of my discomfort to put people around me at ease.
And, most important, I wanted to do a good job and please people.
These are all things I do, constantly, elsewhere in my life. The creation process was not dissimilar from holding a mirror to myself. »
